Online Safety

PEnter text...

At Kinderley, we know how important staying safe is, and we know you’re always keen to promote ways to stay safe at home too. E-safety is taught to all pupils explaining and demonstrating how to stay safe and behave appropriately online. We can only be successful in keeping children safe online if we work with parents/carers to ensure the e-Safety message is consistent. It is important that parents/carers speak to their children about how they can keep safe and behave appropriately online.

E-safety is a key part of our curriculum for both Computing and Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education (PSHCE).

Please don’t hesitate to speak to us if you have any concerns about anything your child is doing or experiencing on the internet.

As a result of Coronavirus/ Covid19 everything has changed for children and families.Parents / carers and children are feeling anxious at this very difficult and extraordinary time. This is a little guide with just some links to websites, activities, books including a book written by an
Intensive Care unit nurse. There are downloads which may be useful for parents / carers, practitioners and
children. Please can we ask parents / carers and practitioners check that the content is suitable for their
children as there is a variety of information here.

CEOP is a law enforcement agency and is here to help keep children and young people safe from sexual abuse and grooming online.
