Where can I get extra support and advice?

This section contains details of some organisations that provide support for parents and carers of children who have special educational needs or a disability, as well as other sources of advice or support. Click on the links for further information.

 

Family Support Worker

Jurate Trumpickiene is our family support worker. She is available on a Monday morning between 8.45am and 9.15am.

Parent Partnership

Offers advice, guidance, information and support for parents or carers of children with special educational needs or a disability

Early Help Assessment

This is a way of identifying whether extra support is needed and working out the best way to provide that support

Pinpoint

Pinpoint is an independent information, support and involvement network for parents in Cambridgeshire.

The National Autistic Society

Provides information support and advice for parents of children with autism.

Young Minds

Offers help, support and advice on mental health issues. There is a section for parents and carers of children with ADHD.

British Dyslexia Association

Offers a wide range of information for parents and carers of children with dyslexia

The Dyspraxia Foundation

Helps and supports parents and carers of children with dyspraxia

Understood

Has a wide range of advice for parents and carers of children with special needs.
