As part of the cycle of SEN support, your child’s progress will regularly be reviewed with you. We will look at how well your child is making progress towards any targets set and make sure that provision is appropriate.
If your child is receiving intervention from the Specialist Teaching Team or the Educational Psychologist, then there will be the opportunity to meet with them to review your child’s progress.
If your child has a Statement or an Education, Health and Care Plan, an annual review takes place to assess your child’s progress and the effectiveness of the provision.
As a school we review the ways in which we support children on a regular basis to ensure that we are fully meeting their needs. This includes how we assess, identify and provide for children with SEND, the training and deployment of staff, the involvement of the child and partnership with parents and professionals.
